Fairly knitted, the Juzo family is happy to take on social responsibility. Just as committed as we are to meeting our customers’ needs, we are also dedicated to supporting our fellow human beings.
Commitment to the healthcare sector
Juzo supports the St. Bonifaz Wound Centre in Munich with donations in kind. This enables uninsured patients to be provided with compression products.
In addition, Juzo has developed special communication sleeves and donated them to the special educational centre “die Wiege” in Odelzhausen. This enables children who cannot speak to still communicate easily. After all, communication is the key to participation.
Fighting Mossy Foot disease
Juzo supports Mossy-Foot Deutschland e. V. in its work in Ethiopia to combat podoconiosis – a treatable lymphatic disease caused by volcanic microparticles. On the ground, the project raises awareness, trains therapists and cares for those affected. This enables marginalised people to participate in social life once again. Juzo has been providing regular support since the first trip in 2020.
Supporting local organisations and projects
Juzo stands for Freedom in Motion, which is why we support organisations in the Aichach region, such as the Aichach Youth Centre and the municipal Julius Kindergarten – including through joint projects.
Employees volunteering
We are proud of the voluntary work and social commitment of our staff, for example in the volunteer fire brigade and the ambulance service. Juzo supports this exemplary commitment with grants and time off work. For this approach, we were one of the few companies in Bavaria to be awarded the title ‘Volunteer-friendly company’.
