Use of the Juzo brand for advertising purposes
When promoting Juzo products, only images from the Juzo Media Service may be used in print media, on websites, on social media, in presentations and for other purposes. You can access these via your specialist retailer login at portal.juzo.com or on request.
The brand identity must be taken into account when implementing the design. Juzo takes responsibility for products, people and the environment. Requirements arising from our values, such as quality awareness and sustainability, must always be taken into account. Individual advertising claims must be verifiable, scientifically sound and correctly cited. Furthermore, the principles of medical advertising must be observed. In particular, no claims of a curative nature may be made.
The content provided must be used exclusively in a medical, professional, reputable and thematically appropriate context, in accordance with the provisions defined therein. The use of the brand and content in connection with Juzo products must, in terms of the intended purpose, safety and performance of the product, comply with the requirements of
Article 7 of the MDR or the legal framework in the country in which you offer the products.
Depiction of the brand name and logo
The brand name Juzo is derived from the name of the company’s founder, Julius Zorn. Any use of the company name Juzo must be in the correct spelling “Juzo” or in the form of the company logo. The logo consists of the figurative mark “circle with the rod of Asclepius” and the word mark with the lettering “Juzo”. Together, these two marks form the company logo and must not be altered or separated.
Copyright and labelling
For copyright reasons, the logo, images, graphics and designs must not be altered. They may be displayed in colour or black and white. The reproduction of image sections is permitted, provided that the original meaning is not distorted. The content (in whole or in part) must be labelled and used with an indication of the image source, such as the trademark (logo) or another form of source attribution (e.g. “Juzo” or “Julius Zorn GmbH”). This labelling must be selected in terms of size and placement so that it is clearly legible to the naked eye.
Legal requirements and disclaimer
Julius Zorn GmbH accepts no liability for any use that infringes the trademark rights of third parties, intellectual property rights or the Unfair Competition Act (UWG). This also applies to infringements of the German Medicines Advertising Act (HWG), the Medical Devices Regulation (MDR) or data protection (GDPR).
The use of content from the documents, brochures or product information provided in any form other than that made available via the Juzo Media Service is prohibited. Julius Zorn GmbH reserves all rights, in particular the right to reproduce and translate into other languages. Extracts may not be reproduced without written permission.
Use of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
To safeguard our quality standards, we prohibit the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in connection with advertising purposes when using brand names, product images and other content. Further information on this can be found at juzo.com/ai
Use of the Juzo brand by subsidiaries, distribution partners or contractual partners
The Juzo brand is the property of Julius Zorn GmbH and may only be used within the group of companies.
Unless a subsidiary or distribution partnership exists, the brand may not be used and the website must not give the impression that it is a subsidiary or directly related to Juzo. It is not permitted to use the logo or other graphic symbols, images or designs without written authorisation.
Subsidiaries, distribution partners, agencies and other contractual partners must adhere to the Corporate Design Guide when using the brand. Important guidelines regarding the logo, colours, typography, imagery and style of language are set out there.
