Protection for all the joints of the thumb
JuzoPro Rhizo is a thumb orthosis that immobilises all the thumb joints. It optimally protects the carpal joint and the carpometacarpal, metacarpophalangeal and interphalangeal joints of the thumb. Thanks to its construction, the other fingers of the affected hand retain their freedom of movement and ability to grasp objects. The thermo-formable, transparent synthetic material and the washable fabric inlays made from a skin-friendly material ensure the high level of wearing comfort of the Juzo Rhizo thumb orthosis.
The removable fixing strap at the interphalangeal joint of the thumb enables the orthosis to accommodate a range of different thumb circumferences. Adjustable straps on the wrist and thumb allow fixation of the interphalangeal joint while leaving the area over the extensor tendon free.
