The Palmar Xtec Rhizo combines the functionality of both a wrist and thumb orthosis. This wrist orthosis is exceptionally comfortable to wear thanks to its light, open design, perfectly contoured fit, individually shapeable stabilisation elements and gentle comfort zones.
The Palmar Xtec Rhizo reliably ensures that the wrist, carpometacarpal and metacarpophalangeal joints remain fixed in place while also allowing the wearer to grip objects via the interphalangeal joint of the thumb and the fingers. The individually adjustable fastening straps with micro touch fasteners make it possible to progressively increase mobility as recovery improves. This wrist orthosis with thumb pocket is made from select breathable materials that wick moisture away from the skin. The fastening system can be operated comfortably with one hand, meaning that it can be placed over a dressing following surgery.
