Pleasant body climate

Breathable knitted fabrics as well as lightweight and airy designs improve comfort, in particular during sweaty activities. Thanks to the exceptional moisture transport of the materials used, moisture is directly wicked away from the skin. 

Maximum freedom of movement

Special stretch zones ensure that the natural freedom of movement is maintained. The soft edges with reduced pressure prevent constriction, making the supports particularly pleasant to wear. 

Skin-friendly finishing 

Comfort zones protect sensitive areas where the skin is particularly thin. No seams are used in those areas, instead there are fabric zones integrated that feature reduced pressure. The crook of the elbow and the back of the knee have been finished so that creases develop on the outside only, while the inside remains nice and smooth.

Optimised closure systems

The closures have been designed to guarantee easy handling. Hand orthoses, for example, can be effortlessly closed with the unaffected hand because a stopping mechanism prevents the touch fasteners from unintentionally slipping out. Back orthoses feature integrated finger pockets that make individual adjustment easier during donning.

Stretchy knitted fabric zones

To ensure that X-Choice supports are easy to put on and take off, they feature special stretch zones in the relevant areas. With ankle supports, for example, this is the case in the area around the lower shin.

Easy to clean

Thanks to their high-quality finish, X-Choice supports can be machine-washed. Stabilisation elements can be removed to make hand-washing of the orthoses easier.

Durable materials 

The materials used have been selected to ensure they maintain their functions and features even if they come in contact with ointments, gels or creams, if they are washed frequently or are exposed to the sun.

Compression effect 

As the main component of supports, special knitted fabrics are used that exert a defined compression gradient. These stabilise the joints, compensate for muscle imbalances and improve proprioception. Compression also activates the metabolism and counteracts swelling.  

Special pads

Anatomically contoured pads exert their effect in areas where compression cannot be effective. They feature friction nubs which, on the one hand, apply a gentle massage effect and, on the other hand, promote stimulation (rheological effect).

Stabilisation and removal of elements 

Numerous orthoses feature anatomically contoured stabilisation elements to provide the affected structures with targeted support. Some of those can be individually adapted or removed after a successful stabilisation phase, when the patient enters the mobilisation phase.
